Title IX of the 1972 Education Amendments is a federal law that states:

"No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance."

The University recognizes sex-based discrimination as a problem in our society and has taken steps to address student and employee concerns, educate the campus community, and address, stop, and remedy reports of sexual harassment and misconduct.

If you have experienced discrimination, misconduct, or assault, please know that you are not alone and that there are resources available to support you.
